MUDDY SMOOTH SAILOR

MERCHANTS PORTER SMOOTH SAILOR 5.6%. Absolutely no carbonation, no head, no initial aroma, though both the beer and the outside temperature was very cold. A slight chocolate nose did begin to develop towards the end of the glass but you had to sit on it foe a while to notice. Extremely muddy and the beer looked more like a hot chocolate than a beer.   I dint necessarily think the beer was “off” but some people where a bit concerned because they took theirs back. In the interest of science I had a second one to see if there was any change but it was exactly the same.

SHENANIGANS BREWING CO. “WINSTON” PALE ALE/AMERICAN 5.6% A fruity aroma – hoppy with a dry finish.

“DR ROT FIFER” YOUNG HENRY’S LAGER/VIENNA RED 5.3%. A dark beer, not a big aroma noticeable malts bitter on the palate, hoppy. A fairly easy to drink beer.

Beers fro STATION BAR KATOOMBA
