ROYAL ALBERT HOTEL

FROM the Dove and Olive we wandered off to the Royal Albert to see what they had on tap.

Our selection was;  LA SIRENE BELLE FRENCH ALE 5%; Fruity;floral with a sour note. A very nice easy to drink beer. HAND PUMPED HARGREAVES HILL E.S.B. 5.4% A nice E.S.Bitter bite to it. easy to drink , a session beer. A NEW ENGLAND AMBER LAGER.5.2% Another sessions beer with a noticeable malt character. I think I would have covered this beer in my post about my visit to the brewery. TEMPLE BREWING ANYTIME IPA  4.7%A pretty typical American I,P,A, which are not my favourite style of beer. Two MODUS OPERANDI’S ;BROWN PALE ALE 4.5% and a PALE ALE 5.2*% (one each) I thought the Brown lacked body and that there where no surprises with the Pale Ale
