INNIS AND GUNN ORIGINAL OAK AGED BEER 6.6% SCOTLAND; A big aroma on opening, nice clour with a smll head creamy and smooth, malty with some of te heatfrom the whiscky barrels not a .lot of hop bitters detected with a bit of sweetness
Left with a slight dry mouthfeel
Brewers Notes; This is our firstborn brew, whose accidental discovery started our story in 2003. Its originality also lies in its singular taste – notes of biscuity malt and vanilla swirling within a creamy, mellow character. A pioneering beer, its flavour finds favour with brewing juries, blind tasting panels and barflies alike.
YEASTIE BOYS REX ATTITUDE 7% NZ. A Peat Smoked Strong Golden Ale ,
Strong smell of smoke on opening the bottle, quite a pale coloured beer,
Reminds me of a very heavily peated Scotch, A little bit of a medicine like taste , also molasses.
A very interesting beer but maybe not a beer to have to a lot of in one session
Brewery’s Note “The worlds first heavily peated single malt ale”,,,,
