I have been having a couple of beers from Leura Cellars at home lately. The weather here in the high country is improving somewhat so I can sit on my balcony and have the one or two.
I had a “Revisionist Lager” Marston’s Beer Co
A “Piledriver” from the Wychewood brewery a “Classic English Ale”
A “Hairy Helmet” an English Pale Ale from the Leatherbritches brewery.
Sometimes it is very hard to work out from some labels where the beers come from. Out of the three I Preferred the Hairy Helmet, the Pile driver and then the Revisionist Lager
Though I consider myself a non hop head I have been pushing my boundaries with IPA’s and APA’s , beers claiming a bigger hop profile than I would normally go for , and while I have been enjoying the challenge I still go for the more malt driven beers
