Going to see BOB DYLAN tonight.
Albion Park Hotel ,,, Erdinger Weisbeir,, Bakalar Svetly Lezak a pilsner very much like all others from this country
At this hotel we where told if we wanted Bakalar we had to have it either 500ml glasses or in jugs. This is responsible service of alcohol at its best. I will be making enquiries if this is indeed legal and if not may complain to whoever you complain to
REDOAK for a pre show drink or two
Old Ale, apparently this is really a Brown, ,, to me sour aroma sour taste ,, to the barman some smoke .
Bitter,,, session beer a bit watery
American Pale Ale , taste, not bad a bit of a session beer citrus.
Organic pale ale ,,,not a big aroma but is a nice beer , another session beer
Paddy’s Craic,,, fizzy beer , improves as it warms up , more flavour,
A COUPLE OF REDOAK BEERS
Down the street to:-Sweeneys Hotel,, Oscars Hotels Group; Roof Bar four floors up for a:-
Holgate,,,, UXB,, Extra Special Bitter which is very similar to the ESB
A COUPLE OF HOLGATE’S AND A BIT OF ARTWORK AT SWEENEY’S
Around the corner to:-
For an IMPERIAL LAGER FROM COSTA RICA
This is what you might expect for a beer from South America , the biggest thing bout it was the price, which coupled with a sarcastic barman who apparently didn’t like me asking for a glass, makes a visit to this place a non event. I wont be going to this place again.
A BEER FROM COSTA RICA AND A SPIDERMAN BARMAN
Had a bit of dinner at the ARTHOUSE. In Pitt Street and a couple of Endeavour Red Ales.
Back to the Redoak for a couple before last drinks, another Organic Pale Ale and a American Pale Ale
I won’t be going to again is the CITY HOTEL where I was booked in to stay. It appears that Visa debit cards are not good enough for this hotel who insists that I go to the nearest ATM to draw money out so that I could pay a hundred dollars a room deposit. Even though a sign on the reception wall says ” eftpos here” they claim that doesn’t mean eftpos for room deposits. Stay at this place at your peril
