EXTRA SMOOTH ENGLISH BITTER v. EXTRA STRONG ENGLISH BITTER

Tonight I had a can of John Smith’s “Extra Smooth English Bitter” in a 500ml can. I enjoyed the beer particularly the smooth and creamy texture of the beer but I thought it lacked a bit in flavour, in fact I might almost say it came across somewhat watery.

I also had an Adnams  Broadside “Extra Strong English Bitter”, This is a much better beer to my way of thinking, more to my taste, not perhaps as creamy, but a much fuller flavoured beer, sweet at the start and a full bodied beer.
