Had a couple of Danish beers, a Faxe Premium Lager in. 1 litre can which was a very easy drinking beer probably indistinguishable from all the other lagers available in Copenhagen . This was a Dan Murphys beer
The other beer was on a completely different level. A 2010 number 220 Bogedal, a golden ale with cascade and perle hops,7.5 ABV. Even though I sometimes find golden a bit sticky or jammy this one while having some of the stickiness was a good beer at the start which improved along the way, the beers from the Bogedal brewery must be among the best in the world . This beer has been sitting quietly in the dark for four years and I couldn’t detect any loss of quality though I don’t know what it would have been like fresh.
