Very nice beer more pale than golden and not as jammy or sticky as some golden’s, a little dry and bitter, it became a touch malty as you get through the beer, A big fruity aroma on opening the bottle. I think I could get through a couple of these at a sitting.
TIMOTHY TAYLORS LANDLORD STRONG PALE ALE
A darker coloured ale, another beer with a aroma on taking the cap off. A bitter and a strong tasting drink as the name implies. didn’t find the bitter or hoppy tasted lasted long after coming to the end of the drink which is a good thing in my opinion.
I had a couple of Tooheys Old in the Ivanhoe pub last night and another one in the Gardeners Inn, The door to one of the toilets in the men’s had a out of order sign on it, the same door had the same sign on it in January and also at Christmas 2012.Does that say something about the management of the place? Or do I expect too much.
