BLOG AUGUST FIRST INSTALLMENT
So far this August has been a pretty beery time, not as busy as it could have been but more than enough to scare the budget.
I started at the WHITE HORSE HOTEL. ST.PETERS,,
Tooheys Old;This seemed an alright sort of a hotel for a quick beer so long as you are happy with the usual lager choices. I had to have my “old” in a bottle as it was not on tap.
COOPERS HOTEL NEWTOWN,
ROCKS BREWING , Convict Lager – or three
CORRIDOR, For a couple of cocktails, happy hour
NEWTOWN HOTEL,,,
Tooths …. White Horse Lager(?) I thought this was a pretty standard beer and couldn’t find it on the web, the barman seemed pretty excited that when it was gone it was being replaced by K.B.

I met a lady called “Chiller” I don’t know what that is short for, if anything who was selling glasses designed, to make the most out of the beer ,a glass for every style. It did seem to make a difference but I don’t think I can afford the glasse so will just have to continue to souvenir them.
I took home a Squealer of YouAmI , 0ne litre

This last beer I found a bit of a challenge and it was much blacker than I might have expected from an IPA

liable as the night wore on I like this pub, it was busy early in the evening the Wednesday I was there but became quieter and more companionable
