SWEDEN OR MORE ACCURATELY STOCKOLM

SWEDEN OR MORE ACCURATELY STOCKOLM
I was in Stockholm for about five days – it was very hot nearly all the time with acouple of torrential downpours to add to the mix and up the humidity.  Micro breweries  where not exactly thick upon the ground but there was every type of theme pub; English Irish Scottish American and Australian, then there was every type of international cafe and restaurant, the hardest to find appeared to be Swedish,
TEGNERS COMSTALLE
The first place I went, on the first night I was there was TEGNERS COMSTALLE a restaurant and had Swedish meatballs the blackboard special. This place specialised in Swedish beers and had  35 bottled beers from Sweden  and four on tap. I had a Narren ESP By Hantverksbryggeriet      Bulldog Draft IPA by Gottlands ;Zeven B.Saison by Sigtuna ; Coffee Stout by Nils Oscars
MONKS BEER CAFE
The next day I went to MONKS BEER CAFE This place had a sign saying it had 1400 bottled beers and 12 taps  (I think) I had Black Lager Brewed for the house by a German Brewery (this was very nice lots of grapefruit); Phatt Yakk  Brewed for the house, (not the Australian Fat Yak) very nice; Wallin IPA Brewed for the house; Beer De Garde by Amager Brewery – Danish

THE BISHOPS ARMS; THE QEENS HEAD AND THE FLYING HORSE all English Pubs and all what you would expect. I did walk into and out of a place called the SCOTSMAN because it didn’t have a single Scottish beer in the place just the usual two Irish beers and for the life of me I can’t remember if this was in Oslo or Stockholm. In a heavy rain storm I went to an American bar and grill I suppose called the Saddle Bar, not only was it the most expensive food I had there was not even an American beer on tap
ROLF’S KOK
I went to a restaurant called Rolfs Kitchen, actually it was called Rolfs kok (2 dots over the o) but kok means kichen in Swedish so I am told I had a STCKHLM IPA apparently a relatively new brewery in Stockholm that only does two beers  but considered premium anyway I had two and they where good and so was the food which I think was a Swedish contemporary style

STOCKHOLM MARKET
I didn’t visit any micro breweries, I am not sure that other than the STHLM there was any nearby and I think it was time to have a bit of a break if you could call it that . I had a lunch at a food market and had a local beer with a cheese tasting plate.
